Inventories of Short-Lived Fission Gas Nuclides in Nuclear Reactors

Taking inventories in reactor cores is critical for understanding their radioactive source terms and establishing the relationship between activity concentration primary loop status of core’s fuel. However, there a niche which simple but accurate conditions nuclide can reliably predict fission gas activities core loop. In this study, efficient model called “Inventories Point Reactor Fission Gas Nuclides” (IPRFGN) was proposed to calculate interpret such inventories, 10 MW high-temperature gas-cooled experimental (HTR-10) used as test case. The present study findings were consistent with those general point–depletion burnup code KORIGEN code. Here, relative error <1%.
